Boomers reign and rock...after all there is strength in numbers!

Well to some degree, that's what people do when they join a dating service, isn't it?
Really though I think Keaton is dead wrong. That woman still looks really good.

What do you think pallies? HJS

Diane Keaton Thinks She Would Need To Pay To Get A Boyfriend
October 21st, 2009 10:30am EDT

Diane Keaton Actress Diane Keaton fears the only way she'd land a lover these days is if she paid him to romance her.

The former big screen sex siren, who previously dated Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino, insists her days of romancing Hollywood's eligible bachelors are over.

The star tells the new issue of More magazine, "I don't think men even look at me anymore. If anything could work in that area, it would probably be if I paid him (suitor). Then I think we could work out an affable relationship. I'm totally for it! I pay for everything else."

But don't cry for Keaton - she doesn't miss having a man around: "It's a huge part of life that's missing, yeah, but I don't miss it. I'm free to do what I want to try to do. I don't have to worry that I'm not living up to some responsibility as a partner to somebody else."

I can't imagine that Dian Keaton is having so much trouble in the men department. It's funny though, because just the other day I was thinking the same thing - that my days of having a male paramour, dates or a partner in life are over but of course, I'd never, ever pay for male attention. Like Diane, I'm much more settled in my ways and enjoy spending my time pursuing other interests.

I guess she is, though I too cannot imagine her having an issue like that.Years ago when it first started and it was free I joined Match.com. I am still a charter member and pay nada for it. I also never use the service. I'm just not looking for love.

My daughter has a wonderful boyfriend. Gary is a sweetie. We were talking the other day and Merelle was complaining about his love for sports and how he can watch 2 or 3 games at once. "Its the playoffs in baseball, now comes football is starting and then there is basketball!" she griped. I could totally relate because Merelle's dad was the same way. In fact Jay was probably worse--he would even watch Luche Libre (wresting in Spanish) if there was no other sports on TV. I told her you can't beat them, so join them and I recommended going to the games live as a way of her developing a liking for some of it. I fell for ice hockey that way..lol..

Life is good and filled with many things I enjoy. At 59 I too am set in my ways and not at all willing to bend too much, so put the cover back on the toothpase and put the toilet seat down fellas. Romance is a wonderful thing and I do not scoff at it, I just do not go looking for it.
