Oh, yes, what a good memory! We did have a marble season every early summer where I grew up on the Jersey shore. I had a nice collection and didn't ever chance losing my "best" ones. I loved my crystal pee wees. They were indeed kiddie jewels. Each…
My younger brother had one. I was about 12 when he got it for Christmas, and I remember thinking it was a very cool toy. That distinctive "Mr.Machine" jingle has stayed with me all of these years. Then again, I did watch lot of TV...still do!
How did you hear of Boomerville USA? If a member invited you, what is their name?
facebook
Did you come to us from another social network, if so which one?
No
What is your birthdate-- MONTH DAY YEAR and your current age (sorry, we've had some youngsters try to sneak through the gate.) Most important: we would like to add you to our Monthly Boomer Birthday Shout Out (don't worry we only list your month and day.)
Morning Val, I luv looking at your owl pics you have here - they are unreal....
sorry that I have taken this long to reply as well.
I am in the throws of packing and moving right now,
but it's a slow process because I keep coming over
to my `puter' lol!
This also means that I will have to find a new ISP etc,
after I have re-installed it in my new home - that's goanna be fun!!!
so if you don't hear from me, this is the reason.
Have a wonderful week my friend - Hugzzz!
lol, I hope I gotcha big time re the old school pics lol,
and please never say `never` as in `it's never going to happen`
as ya just never can tell what's around the corner....
Also, I would like to let you know that I am moving further north
to a small senior single's unit during this next month of August,
so if I don't reply to anything in the meantime - that is why,
but I will have the greatest pleasure of telling you all about it
when I have my puter all connected up and running once again.
Hugzzz!
It was so good to find your reply waiting in my yahoo email today,
thanks Val, and to answer you, I know we have the barn owls,
the frog-mouth owl, and the Burrowing owls, but that is the extent of
my knowledge.
And Coff's Harbour is down the road lol!
I have never been to any kind of school re-union, but I think it would
be of great interest to do so - while the ol' memory is still intact lol!
Incidentally, I found this website that can actually find information
and pictures from our early school days, you just have to put
a few bit of information in, then `Bingo',
the link is: http://www.worldschoolphotographs.com/wsp/index1.htm
See you next time! - Hugzzzz!
G'day to a `fellow feathered friend' - I was sooo excited to see another
`owl' person here that I had to fly straight over...lol!
And my oh my, that is a magnificent and majestic picture of you
holding the owl - how precious is that!!!!!!!!
Hope we can be friends - thanks - Hoots to ya!
